The Leverhulme project 'crowding' study

As part of the study of experiences of party-goers at the 2002 Fatboy Slim free party, we also took measures and analysed people's feelings about crowding. Among other things, we found that whereas low identifiers became more negative emotionally as they felt more crowded, high identifiers did not: that is, the experience of crowding differs according to identity.
